Where People, Power and Performance Meet
Free Solar Systems for Municipalities and Non-profits.
Sun Saver Solar Systems is happy announce free solar systems for municipalities and non-profits! Thanks to the Treasury Grant 1603 federal program, free solar systems are now available for police stations, fire stations, schools, town offices, and any buildings that are at all occupied by the municipality. The same program applies to any non-profit organization.
There are great deals for commercial and residential customers as well. Commercial buildings are eligible for free systems, with the difference being that the business behind the meter has to pay for the electricity produced by the system at a discount from their current rates. That rate stays the same for the next 20 years, which is a great deal.
For residential customers under PSE&G, 90% of a solar system is paid for by the utility and the federal government. Sun Saver Solar Systems also includes free electric monitoring for residential customers, which can reduce usage by 20%. In many cases, electric bills are completely eliminated. Considering that quality solar systems last about 40 years, the small investment breaks even very quickly. After that, do the math for a typical house… 40 years of electric bills saved.
With all of these amazing programs, there are no excuses not to go solar. It saves money and it is the right thing to do for the environment. New Jersey could possibly become the #1 state in the U.S. in solar installations, and Sun Saver Solar Systems would love to see that happen!
“Both Pennsylvania and New Jersey are aiming for close to 20% renewable energy by 2020, and they need the help of their residents to get there,” said Hicks. “This is our chance to be a part of the democratization of our energy. So call your township, call your board of education, and tell them about Treasury Grant 1603.”
If you are interested in renewable energy or just interested in saving money, call for an evaluation and energy audit for your own home or business. The government programs have already been extended and won’t last forever, so now is the time to see if solar is a viable renewable source for your energy needs.

“I’d put my money on the
sun and solar energy. What
a source of power! I hope
we don’t have to wait until
oil and coal run out before
we tackle that.”
