Spoon & Sprout Cafe in Hillsborough opened in March to provide an exciting new option to the age-old question, “What are we going to have for dinner?” Offerings include a variety of homemade delights that are made with quality ingredients to remind people why fresh is best. Every dish is made to order by chef/owner, Geetha Jayaraman, who is originally from Malaysia. She brings her passion to the culinary arts, together with her extensive knowledge of exotic spices, ingredients, and flavors, to ensure a fusion of taste and nutrition.
The menu is constantly being updated with new choices along with daily and seasonal specials. From the refreshing and satisfying quinoa salad to the hearty and robust Moroccan stew, each item on the menu surprises and impresses. In addition, delicious, crunchy and gluten-free, gourmet plantain chips from Geetha’s successful snack food company, Grab ‘Em Snacks, accompany numerous menu items and are available for purchase.
