The Whirling Dance of the Sufi Mystics: Unveiling the Beloved

Join Saima Yousuf and Yousuf Arain at the Princeton IYCC to experience a multi-sensory performance comprised of live demos, music, light projections and discussion on NonDual Seeking on the Sufi path. The event, which will take place on August 5, from 6 to 8pm, will culminate in a demonstration of whirling amidst the surreal artwork of Saima Yousuf, featuring Whirling Dervishes. A repeat performance is planned for September 6, from 7 to 9 pm.

Saima Yousuf has been drawn to creating art and examining the spiritual truth since early childhood. Currently, she runs a holistic art studio in Hamilton, where she creates art, teaches classes, and practices meditation, Sufi whirling and yoga with partner Yousuf Arain.

Yousuf Arain studied Engineering at Columbia University, and now works as an artist in the field of music and design, progressing into visual arts and film-making. As a student of mysticism since childhood, Arain immersed himself on the path of Sufism and set out to experience this world first-hand.

The cost for the event is $25.

Location: Princeton IYCC, 301 N Harrison Street, Building A, Suite 1E, Princeton. For more information and to register, visit IYCCPrinceton.org
