Healing the Healer

Jul 31, 2022 08:21PM ● By Janet StraightArrow

We are all healing presences in the world, for healing professionals and everyone.

Healing is a lifestyle. The path to personal growth is continually healing us. Healing is wholeness—the goal is to be happy, healthy, peaceful, productive, loving, and whole.

Our words, intent and energy significantly impact us and everyone. Be sure your words reflect what you want to create in your body, mind, and life. Look to align with what you desire. Free will means we choose on subtle and direct levels, so choose well.

The pathway to healing is one clear of judgment or blame, which blocks access to recovery. Instead, accepting our challenges allows us to discover new territories to learn and heal more.

Viewing ourselves and others from a neutral space allows a higher perspective to observe and heal the cause and live solutions. Conversely, holding a negative focus keeps us and those we influence victims.

Healers, leaders and caregivers’ primary focus are on helping others. However, it is essential to remember that being of service requires serving ourselves to stay balanced, healthy, and strong.

Everything Is Practice

Taking classes, learning tools and techniques, and new teachings are just the beginning. Knowledge and mastery require time and experience. Learning is a process to be enjoyed with excitement to know and help more.

Question the problems and seek solutions. Go beyond belief and ordinary thought. Sincere seekers are led to answers in layers over time, though sometimes, it’s more immediate.

Twenty years ago I found myself wondering how medicine integrates spirituality with healing. Five days later, I received a personal invitation in the mail from Harvard Medical Schools Mind Body Institute to attend their Continuing Education Event on Spirituality and Healing in Boston. I joined them three weeks later and have attended many of their engaging educational events. I have no idea where they received my home address to invite me. However, it was apparent to me that someone in Spirit was listening to my thoughts and initiated the connection.

Learn to be a co-creator with healing and medical professionals by discerning your responsibility. Educate yourself and learn more about your part and what is best for you.

We are the healers of ourselves. Begin by focusing on perfect health instead of disease. When we accept our nature of ideal health, we are guided to ways to achieve this. Stay focused on solutions and receive answers from surprising places.

Keep asking questions. Life is continual growth. Seek higher wisdom, awareness, and ways to help. Know that each of us is the healer, and it is essential to learn how to continue the journey and be healthy lifelong.

As we see all the mental and physical illnesses in our families and the world, we can be the problem or the solution. We are fortunate we can learn to be and do our part to overcome this in ourselves and find peace, wisdom, balance, health, and purpose in our lives.

Have fun on your journey. Life and healing are an adventure.
