Sleep Deeply with Hibernate Bedding

A family business, Hibernate Bedding opened in 2012 and is owned and operated by Pamela Nardone, a lifelong resident of the Somerset Hills.

Pam recognizes that shopping for a mattress can be a difficult, annoying and for some an extremely painful experience, but not at Hibernate Bedding. “We try to make it fun for people to shop,” says Nardone, whose warm, friendly personality helps put customers at ease. “Many of my customers are now my friends and come visit me all the time.”

Pam does her best to educate people on the benefits of sleeping on an organic or chemical free mattress.  Most conventional mattresses contain polyurethane foams, flame retardants, and glues that off gas VOC particles which can cause various symptoms from itchiness and sore throat to lethargy, sleepiness, sleeplessness and obvious signs of poisoning.  These particles are also known to be carcinogenic and exposure to them can be linked to a number of serious health conditions including cancer, developmental brain disorders, and obesity.  Nardone says, “Why take that risk?  We are exposed to enough chemicals in our daily lives.  Our bedrooms should be a healthy and safe place for all of us, especially our children.”
