Hemberger Structural Integration Brings the Body Back Into Balance

Sep 02, 2026 06:17AM ● By Jerome Bilaos

Ed Hemberger, LMT, Certified Structural Integration practitioner, is helping clients move with greater ease through a holistic approach to posture, alignment and whole-body wellness at Hemberger Structural Integration in Livingston.

Based on the work of Dr. Ida P. Rolf, Structural Integration uses hands-on manipulation of the body’s connective tissue, or fascia, along with movement re-education to address long-established patterns of tension and imbalance. The goal is to help reorganize the body so it can move more efficiently and comfortably while working more naturally with gravity.

Hemberger brings more than 20 years of experience to his practice, with training in Structural Integration, Active Release, craniosacral therapy, bioenergetics and body-centered therapy. His background also includes working with professional and amateur athletes and mentorship under Thomas Findley, MD, Ph.D., an advanced Rolfer and noted fascia researcher.

Clients may explore the traditional 10-session Structural Integration Series, designed to progressively address different regions of the body and re-pattern movement, as well as individualized work and craniosacral therapy. Structural Integration may be particularly appealing to those experiencing restricted movement, postural imbalances or chronic neck, back and joint discomfort, as well as athletes and yoga or martial arts practitioners seeking greater flexibility and performance.
