Marvlyn Vincent endured a childhood of abuse. After years of struggling to put her past behind her, Marvlyn finally found a combination of methods to alleviate posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She then started The Harmony Place, a non-profit organization dedicated to offering PTSD healing to others who suffer from the effects of trauma and PTSD. The weekly sessions provide peer support and meditation in a group setting, offering strength, a shoulder, and an ear. Registration begins on November 22.
