Natural Dye: Mellow Yellows and Glorious Goldens – August

Using barks, cones and seasonal flowers, we will dye organic cotton bandanas! We will also play with the petals used in the dye process by steaming and pounding them into cotton rag papers. Enjoy a leisurely walk where we will gather materials grown on the farm for your dye practice! The workshop includes discussion of he natural dye process on cellulose fabric and how to make natural watercolors from your leftover dye baths. Sip lavender lemonade and taste lovely cookies as you chat with your fellow creatives!
