Tai Chi for the Knee
This class is designed to educate and empower you to support knee health using the principles of tai chi. This class is taught by Holly Sweeney-Hillman, who has written many articles and taught seminars on the subject of the benefits of tai chi to support the knee. She has graduate degree from New York University in Ergonomics and Orthopedic Biomechanics and is a Senior Instructor and chair of the educational committee of the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association.
In this class you will learn how to support and strengthen your knee with proper alignment and posture. The movements are low impact and can be done by complete beginners and even those with sensitive knees. This class encourages safe movement and long term joint comfort in a calm and supportive environment.
